The lack of menstrual products for female school students is a major barrier to a girl’s education. Menstruation has been linked to an increase in school absenteeism rate during that time of the month.

To address this problem, Love Your Menses, Inc. and our sponsors have been supporting girls and women across the United States, West Africa, and the Caribbean by ensuring they have access to safe, quality menstrual products and period product dispensers. We have also been facilitating menstrual education workshops led by medical and public health experts.

Since April 2020, Love Your Menses has distributed period and postpartum products to girls and young women in the U.S., Liberia, Nigeria, Gambia, Haiti, Sao Tome and Principe, and Kenya.
