Ronke Olowojesiku, MD, MPH is a current Medical Resident and recent medical school graduate from the Augusta University-University of Georgia Medical Partnership. She holds a Master of Public Health degree from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Ronke has worked at the National Institutes of Health as a post-baccalaureate research trainee. Ronke continues to seek opportunities to expand her understanding on issues involving diversity and health disparities as a volunteer and student leader.
Ronke served on the board of (fem)me (now PERIOD at UGA), a local organization that provides feminine hygiene kits to women and girls experiencing homelessness. She hopes to use her experiences to better address the underlying determinants of health in the communities she will serve as a future pediatrician.
