About the workshop
S.E.W (Sustainable and Empowerment Workshop) is a program designed to empower youth to learn about sustainable fashion and create custom reusable period products. Participants will learn the basics of hand sewing and create reusable period products, such as period underwear or reusable pads, the skills learned could be replicated for personal use as well as entrepreneurial endeavours in the future.
S.E.W is a virtual 4-part workshop series. Our April workshop is open to everyone! The workshop will take place:
Monday, September 27th at 6:00pm-8:00pm
Tuesday, September 28th at 6:00pm-8:00pm
Wednesday, September 29th at 6:00pm-8:00pm
Thursday, September 30th at 6:00pm-8:00pm
The program fee is $20 and all materials will be dropped off to you prior to the first workshop session. All workshops will be virtual via Zoom. Space is limited, and early registration is highly suggested. Registration is first come, first served.
